Donations to Komen Des Moines are a vital part of our fundraising efforts and are a very personal way for individuals and organizations to join the fight against breast cancer by remembering or celebrating their loved ones who have been affected by the disease.
If your gift is in memoriam or in celebration of someone, we can send a personalized tribute card to the person or family you are honoring or, if you prefer, we can simply note the thoughtful donation without revealing the amount or the donor.
When you make a donation, you will receive an e-mail acknowledgement for tax purposes. All gifts to the Komen Des Moines Affiliate are tax deductible to the full extent the law allows. All donations are considered unrestricted funds and will be used to support breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in Iowa as well as national research to find a cure.
